We at Stepping Stone realize that mental illness and substance abuse affects many facets of a person’s life and the lives of their loved ones. Dealing with one’s own issues or problems that a loved one is having can seem overwhelming. Our goal is to provide comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services to patients and their families in a comfortable, welcoming, and non-judgmental setting.
Mood Disorder Treatment
Treatment of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder (MDD).
Anxiety Disorder Treatment
Treatment of anxiety, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and other related issues.
Substance Addiction Disorder
Our goal is to provide comprehensive substance abuse treatment to patients and their family. New patients will have a psychiatric assessment to assess any underlying mental health issues as well as an assessment for the use of medications such as Buprenorphine (suboxone/subutex), naltrexone, vivitrol and antabuse. Individual (one on one) therapy will be offered. On site drug testing will be performed.
Medication to help with addiction to drugs and alcohol are available. We can also organize interventions for families and loved ones in need.
Psychiatric Evaluation and Treatment
A board-certified psychiatrist will obtain history and conduct a mental status examination to identify a treatment plan.
One To One Therapy
Work directly with a therapist to talk through ongoing, past, or current issues, based on a personalized treatment plan with goals. We offer short term solution focused treatment, as well as long term psychotherapy. Our therapists specialize in EMDR, DBT, CBT, and trauma focused therapy.
TOVA® Evaluation for ADHD
Objectively measures attention and inhibitory control to assess and evaluate treatment for ADHD.
Genecept Assay® Test
The Genecept Assay is a test that we offer that looks at genes that may affect your body’s ability to benefit from certain drugs and other treatments. The Genecept Assay is the only test of its kind that looks at a group of key genes that are specific to mental health treatments.
UA Screening
We offer random urine analysis screenings for your loved ones as well as screenings for employment purposes.
